I'm a Southern Girl with an East Coast twist obsessed with all things travel, food, and bevvies! Born in New Orleans and raised in Texas, my spirit called me to the East Coast where I earned my MA from New York University. I now call Newark, NJ home - so I'm well-versed in southern hospitality and East Coast swag. I started Santini Socialite to share my travel experiences and to offer trip consulting services along the way. I soon realized there was so much more this brand had grown to represent. When I'm not shaking things up (which is almost never), you'll find me planning my next adventure, on the couch enjoying takeout with a glass of wine and a remote (or my phone) in hand.
About Santini Socialite
Growing up I always looked forward to planning and organizing events my family hosted. My first successful event was my eighth birthday party. I had all the necessities for my guests and I came in on budget, with my mother’s help of course. My passion for seeing my ideas come to life never escaped me. In fact, it led me to the ultimate passion project...
It all began after I went on a trip to Europe. After hours and hours of searching the internet, I was able to plan a four country European adventure, but it didn't come without hiccups. I scoured travel sites and blogs looking for information about hotels, flights, and cultural experiences and still came up short. While sitting in the airport in Santorini, Greece, I jotted down notes (as I always do) to remember to share with family and friends that reached out to me for travel tips and personalized itineraries, but I didn't just jot down notes, I mapped out the layout and a business plan for Santini Socialite, or so I thought...
I originally envisioned Santini Socialite as a way to share travel experiences while providing travel consulting and event planning services. I realized I wanted it to represent so much more of who I am. Santini Socialite is a dynamic spot on the web where I inspire people to shake things up through lifestyle and travel content. I share travel tips and tricks, DIY projects, fashions hacks, beauty fun, flavor, and new experiences. #QueeningOnABudget
Santini Socialite is dedicated to my grandfather, Albert Williams
Over a decade ago my grandfather took my mother and I out of the country for the 1st time. At that time, I didn't know him that well because he spent 30+ years in Angola Penitentiary, but it was really important for him to make sure we got our passports and an opportunity to see the world. This also allowed me to develop a relationship with him. He planted the seed that has now blossomed into a love of travel and exploration.
