How to Save Money on Home Appliances (New Jersey)
NJ Squad! I have a tip to save money on home appliances.
Do you know about NJ's Clean Energy Program? This program offers NJ residents and business owners incentives and rebates on home appliances like:
Washers & Dryers
Hot Water Heaters
Here’s what you do:
🔍Go to www.njcleanenergy.com
🖱Scroll down to "Residential" and click "Get Rebates" (home owners). If you're a business owner go to "Commercial" then, click "Find Incentives"
⬇Next, select the drop down menu for "Appliance Rebates & Lighting"
📖Read through the programs to learn more
✔️Check the list to see if your appliances qualify (there's a list for each appliance category)
📝Fill out an application for each appliance
💲Then, wait for your rebate(s)
There are so many additional incentive/rebate programs listed on their site including an appliance recycling program.
Head over to www.njcleanenergy.com to see if you're leaving money on the table.
If you don't live in NJ, try Googling the name of your state + clean energy rebates or appliance rebates. I doubt NJ is the only state offering these programs.
Here's to saving money!
